I read that you can't use BO with any kind of phytoestrogenic herbs, but would it be alright to take BO with anti-androgen herbs like wild yam and saw palmetto? TIA Big Grin

feeling sick AF around ovulation

Hey guys, 20 y.o. female here, my first real month on Swanson's BO, (last month i ran out right before ovulation because I didn't order enough, took four per day). Took a few days off on my period and upped it to 5 this month, and pushed it to 6 one day right around my ovulation - which was probably stupid?  Felt like what could have been cysts or endometriosis type symptoms (I don't know, have never experienced either before), downed dose to 4.  Now it's day 16 of my cycle, all day I've felt just straight up nauseous.  I also had a couple drinks last night, which I don't do very much of, which probably wasn't the best decision either :/ Don't feel hungover though, I was able to push myself to the gym. I took only 2 BO (500mg) today at about 230 PM.  My appetite is usually crazy because I lift, but today I could barely stomach anything.
I'd like to continue taking 1000mg BO, 700mg L-Ty, and order some Pituitary, but if I continue to have these symptoms (particularly sharp pains in my ovaries), I'm not so sure. I'm not trying to risk my health either. I read somewhere that it's common for women on fertility drugs to feel very nauseous during ovulation, esp due to progesterone sensitivities. I guess only time will tell?
Any input would be much appreciated. I'm sure I'm not the only one out there that's experienced side effects of this stuff... pls drop me some knowledge

Who shouldn't take BO? Questions

I've been eyeing BO for a while now, in fact 3-4 years before I even started any NBE stuff. I'm 18, and at the moment, I'm taking 6,600-13200 mg of Collagen a day, a 2x scoop of Flaxseed a day, and coconut oil w/ Vitamin E oil while noogling an 1-2 hours a day. I haven't had a hormone test to see whether or not I'm dominant or deficient any any, but I have symptoms of being Est. Dominant.  Well, I'm wondering if I could take Bovine Ovary. I haven't been 6 months into my NBE, and just recently added Flaxseed a month with collagen, but from from what I heard grounded flaxseed can help with hormone imbalance. Collagen from what I heard doesn't mess with hormones. So while flaxseed had things that could aid my NBE journey, I would like to get results a bit faster since I'm almost out of the initial growth period (almost three months now). I REALLY want to see how BO can work for me and what it can finally provide for me. Well now, I have questions:

1. Who shouldn't take BO?
2. What are some negative effects if any?
3. What are some good brands? Any to avoid? Why?
4. Starting dosage? And who long should someone stay at this dosage?
5. Everyone is different, but how long does it take to see results
6. What are somethings you should do while taking BO?
7. Do you prefer any other herbs or supplements? Why?
8. Any other thoughts? Advice? Experiences?

(9. Am I doing anything wrong?)
(Sorry about so many questions!)

Thanks! While I know I can grow since I am only 2 months in, I still get demotivated and upset, but I hope someone can help me. Sorry to sound desperate but I need the bigger jiggles!

Birth control pills while on BO

I was wondering if it was safe to take birth control pills while taking BO pills or if it would be too much for the body? The ones I use have the most estrogen there can be in birth control pills, so I'm scared it would cause estrogen dominance, even though my birth control pill also has progesterone. Has anyone else had experience using birth control pills and BO?  Big Grin

Hey everybody! I just joined up to hear what your thoughts are on me taking BO. I am a 16 year old biological male and have desired to have a female body for a while now. I started PM for a few days but my parents found out before any thing could happen. I as hoping by taking BO i could get my body to have a female Estrogen balance before they could stop me. Can anyone tell me what it would do to my testicals as well to mentally? Will i only be attracted to males? Let me know!

I finally stepped out of the closet. I told my family that I'm transgender and starting hormones on the 5th of July. I do have the support of my family and some of my friends. I have already talked to my doctor about sexual reassignment surgery. I'm hoping to get the surgery within a year. I will still be on here everyday to see how everyone is doing. Thank you everyone for your help and guidance.

I love you all so much. Love Katniss Nascimento.

How much BO should someone start with?

I'm starting BO soon, but I don't want to start with a dose that will take forever to see results, or a high dosage that make be damaging or pointless. What's the usual amount people take? (I'm going to start with Swanson's BO 250mg brand). In addition, what time(s) of day should I take it?

I have ordered cayenne capsules, to Heat things up. Also, does my temperature need to be 98.6 Fahrenheit, like, All the time, 24/7? That Seems So hard to achieve!
I would love to hear some tips and tricks. Thanks in advance.

HELP: BO Doesn't Seem To Be Working For Me

I need some help/advice! Feeling very helpless and discouraged.

I started BO mid-January (almost two months ago) after a week of cleansing with milk thistle, and I have seen NO RESULTS.

I take Swanson's Ovarian Glandular, started out with four pills a day (two in the morning and two at night), as well as kelp and L-arginine (read on here that you're not supposed to take pituitary if you are under the age of 30).

I've always had fairly low body temperature, which is why I was taking the kelp and l-arginine in an attempt to boost my temperature. However, it's been almost 2 months, and I have seen no results. Not even tingling/pain of any sort. I think my skin is clearer, but I don't even know if that can be attributed to the BO. Besides that I don't think BO is affecting me in any way.

I'm pretty forgetful though, and have had a really hard time keeping the four pills a day routine (a lot/most of the time I take two in the morning and forget to take two at night). Could that be the reason why this isn't working? I just feel like I should at least be feeling some sort of difference on BO even if I'm only taking two in the morning, since a lot of people on here seem to react to it in various ways even though they are on a lower dose.

What do you think my problem is? Am I not taking enough BO regularly? Or is it more likely because of my low body temperature? If so, PLEASE leave suggestions on supplements I should add to my routine to tweak it. If you started out on BO and it didn't work until you made some changes, I would also love to hear your story! It seems like everybody on here at least experiences some kind of growth while on BO, and I really want to make it work for me! Sad

BO just isn't worth it.

I was researching the effects of BO because it's so popular on this forum, and I've found numerous of sites that warn against taking it as well as testimonies from women that had adverse effects to their skin, hair, body, breasts and overall health, but I stumbled on this comment from a doctor and I felt compelled to share. Now I realize that a lot of people (both men and women) have seen great results with BO, but that doesn't cancel out the risks of taking it or equates it to being healthy or good for your body. Like this doctor has stated, prions can lie dormant in your system for years and years, only to resurface and cause problems later on in life. When it comes to taking herbs for breast enhancement, of course there is always a risk, but I would suggest that anyone interested in going the herbal route do a lot of research on that particular supplement and also at the very least be aware of the risks you are taking. Also, there are more well-researched herbs on the market that don't have as many ill effects that would probably be a better option. But of course, that decision is wholly yours alone, and I hope no one takes offense to this, but I just really felt the need to share and get this info out there. Afterall, everyone on this site is trying to get big/bigger boobs but I don't think that should mean compromising your health.

One last note: I would also think twice about ingesting animal placenta too, as I've also researched and found that they also can disrupt health and cause harmful side effects. (Pig/horse/sheep/lamb placenta)

Lots of love.

"Taking bovine glandulars is really not a good idea in the long run. There are certainly possible side effects, especially the longer you use them. For one thing, the endocrine system in our bodies (the system that produces hormones of all kinds) works on a very delicate feedback system....when we ingest something like this supplement, we are interfering with that feedback system. It is hard to say exactly what effect this will have in the short run, or in the long run, but in general I think we've learned over the years that messing around with the endocrine system is generally not a good idea for our health.

Another concern is that there are infectious agents called 'prions' that can possibly be carried by cow glandular products. Prions are scary for a number of reasons. They are not eliminated through any of the currently used 'purification' techniques for most supplements (like heating, filtering, etc.). In other words, you can't guarantee that they aren't in the pills. Also, they can lie dormant in our nervous systems for years, then manifest later as some kind of neurologic disease (the most famous prion-caused disease is Mad Cow, but there are others).

So, in general, I really recommend that you not take bovine glandulars at all. Problems with fertility, libido, etc. can be taken care of through much safer means. I suggest you consider consulting with a homeopathic doctor near you (try looking at the online directory of the American Institute of Homeopathy), or one who will do a phone consultation. Fertility issues can also be addressed through acupuncture."

Bovine Mammary Glandular

Hey loves, a friend of mine told me about Bovine Mammary Glandular to help increase my breast growth results and I've looked I to it but there's not much, not like BO. BM isn't used as much it seems. Anyways, I'm considering whether I should add it to my BO Aug - Dec regiment and would like any feedback from anyone who's tries it before and what your results were. Or if you heard of someone else's results. I went though the archives but many of the women who used it didn't report back to say their first results.

So let me know please

ETA:

Found this site that sells all types of Glandular Products: http://www.doctorsresearch.com/prod_simply.html

And under their Mammary Gland pills they had this:

This is 200mg per tablet of bovine mammary tissue. It may be of interest to note that the National Cancer Institute has studied bovine mammary tissue to find out what may be in it that helps prevent cows from getting breast cancer. The breasts are involved in lactation, sexual attraction, and sexual response. Bovine mammary tissue has been sometimes advised for disorders related to female breasts such as nipple pain, lymph node enlargement, breast underdevelopment, mastitis, menstrual pain, nipple inflammation, congestion, and lactation difficulties [10].

So it's great to hear that it can potentially help keep my breasts in healthy state. But I still haven't been able to find any antedoctal research on women who've tried it.

Muscles aches with BO?

I recently increased my BO to 500mg a day. I've only been taking it a week and a half, but I noticed I have been getting muscles aches. I don't know if this is from the BO or if I am getting sick. I wanted to ask if anyone else had this experience so I know if I need to keep an eye on it.

Unfortunately, I had to return the collagen supplement I was taking because it has trace amounts of sulfites in it. I have a sulfite allergy and while I think it would have been okay, I already have too many sinus and allergy problems to knowingly add to them. I ordered some sheep placenta from Swanson to use instead. Other than that, I am not really taking anything to support the BO except a liver detox support supplement and progesterone, both per order by my bioidentical hormone therapy doctor. I know my hormones are balanced as my doctor had bloodwork done in January, and all my hormone levels are good except for one of my thyroid levels (which was the result of being on too high a synthroid dose).

High Temperature and BO

Hi everyone!

So I have decided to start Bovine Ovary (BO) soon.
I want to take Raw Ovarian Glandular 250 mg a pill: 2x in morning & 2x in the evening.

And also raw Pituitary glandular 80 mg a pill: 1x morning & 1x evening

About my temperature, everyday it is at least 37.5 Celsius (99.5 F) from the moment I wake up.

Does anyone have any advice or wants to share their experiences on temperature and BO?

I don't know if it is too high.
And I have also trouble finding the reason why your temperature needs to be at a certain point for BO to work.
If anyone could fill me in on that, would be great.

Don't think I should be using kelp?

I am a BO noobie atm^^

BO and PCOS: Risks and limitations?

$

Good morning, ladies,
I'm usually in BNm, but for this question, I think you'll have more insight.
21 year old daughter has PCOS and is having a ton of issues. At this time, she's on birth control (Ethinyl Estradiol and something else, I forget; US script). No antiandrogens.
She is very upset about the lack of development....   And with the EE in the pills, she LIKES the "girly" feelings, so it seems she's headed the right direction. Also, he doesn't like being "furry", and - well, the 7 Dwarves ask her for grooming tips...  (Sort of.)

I'm trying to help her plan a program, and I'm thinking BO might be the best start. Any way we can cause aromatization of the T would be a double benefit: Less body hair, more hips (maybe), more breast. Per searching here, we shouldn't have to worry about the birth control interacting with BO.

She's a bit hard to direct, so I can't just tell her to go here and do research on her own. Also doesn't like Saw Palmetto.

Short of treating her like an MTF transsexual, Spirotone and Prgynova, I think it might make the most sense to try and get the balance of T:E towards the "girl" side.

Does anyone know of any problems or risks, given that she is known to be estrogen deficient? (We're working on diet per thread, "PCOS Girls Must read - Lotus please read too ;-)" @ http://www.breastnexus.com/showthread.php?tid=27551)

She loves carbs, eats erratically, and is battling anxiety and depression issues as well. She does have a love for sushi, though, and works at a sushi bar, so there's a good option there. She hates protein shakes. Doesn't like remembering pills. And is on an antidepressant, which I have to look up at home.

Works part time three days a week and goes to school three days a week.

I'm thinking Swanson's BO for starters, use a tincture, get her to drink it in tea. Mimic a woman's schedule or period cycle, since she basically doesn't have one even with the EE in the BC. And see how it goes, starting at the lowest dose, and working up to "normal" doses here (Which IIRC can be as high as 2,000 mg 2X/day, with a start of 250 mg 2X a day.)

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sauna for increasing HG hormone

$

I wanted to put this out there in its own thread so it is easier for people to find. MissEllen and I had a discussion in the High Temp and BO thread. I found research that says 30min straight (and that is essential that it be 30min without a break) of sauna use increases HG hormone. Article: https://besynchro.com/blogs/blog/1326879...hgh-levels

I have been going to a sauna twice a week for two weeks now. I take 500mg of BO an hour before my sauna session on a empty stomach (in addition to 500mg in the morning and at night) and each time have breast aches either directly afted using the sauna or within a couple of hours of using the sauna. I don't get breast aches during the day on non-sauna days, which supports my theory that the sauna is having an effect. I haven't done any measurements or anything because breast growth is a slow process, I don't know if there would be much of a difference after only a couple of weeks. But the timing of the  aching has been consistent enough that I wanted to share this.

I also drink a protein shake about an hour after my sauna session (I go home after because I don't want to use the gym showers or drag all my protein shake stuff to work with me). My protein shake consists of whey, collagen, and MCT oil in 8oz unhomogenized whole milk (28g protein, 32g saturated fat). Ideally I could drink my shake right after my sauna session but I have yet to figure out how I could make this logistically possible.

Zyacin Most distributors of fuel-saving devices realize this but optimum all natural male enhancement solution are herbal remedies. They are far more effective than any prescription pill or exercise program you'll arrive across. Plus, they are totally safe unlike some for the dangerous so called erection solutions like surgery and equipment you attached to your willy.
